some pipes for the new pipes shk
i quit smoking several years ago, but i used to love my pipes. i kept them all around because they really are little pieces of art. (also they smell so damn good)
1. ceramic “holland” pipe from @cristin in a gift exchange forever ago
2. grabow bent stem that became my sacrificial “weed pipe” for a little bit before a friend gifted me with a glass one-hitter
3. butz-choquin cadre noir, a gift from @lostwars when he stayed on my couch for a few days
4. grabow omega
5. pipe-shaped tamper tool, also from @lostwars

@poorusher it does take a little while to get into the rhythm of it, and packing it too loosely or too tightly can make for a lot of pulling and little smoke.
I miss my pipes too—I have them in some box somewhere. For tobacco I loved Erinmore Flake, Latakia, Black and Gold—nothing sweet. Smoking a pipe on a cold beach is pretty great.
@joost please do!
@hassebasse it is a nice ritual and i sometimes miss it. sorry to hear you lost that pipe! i had a straight-stem one like that forever ago that broke after i dropped it too many times; still miss it too.
There many pipe brands with medical sounding names like that.
But in the EU that kind of name is illegal for tobacco products.
I guess that explains why I never encountered them.
Btw I'm amazed that there are so many with pipes on mltshp. :waves:
i looked just now, and i’m surprised to see they still use the “Dr.” in the name here too, honestly.
