eve’s drivers license, from “octopus pie”

sometimes i miss the ol’ web 2.0 and the broader array of non-homogenized blogs, webcomics, etc. i get silly nostalgic for the old throwaway things, even when they weren’t that long ago.

i’d not really read “octopus pie” when it was around (2007-2018) but i saw kate beaton mention it somewhere and started reading it in between tasks at work. it has been fun, light, enjoyable, but with substance to make it more than a snack.

i’m just about the same age as eve (and, i’m guessing, the author meredith gran). reading this brings out a little of that post-college feel.
