Int’l coffee nerd
Finding the best coffee is my job when we travel, and here in Luzern, Switzerland that means hiking a mile south of the city center to Café Tacuba - owned by an El Salvadoran who roasts coffee from his farms and friends’ farms in El Salvador. Chatted with the barista who said it’s been a bit of an uphill battle to develop a taste in the locals who are accustomed to ONLY darker roasts.
He recommended a Chemex to maximize body, and adjusted the brew ratio to highlight the acidity for me, and it was lovely.
