This is really great. The shadows!! But also I've driven by "this" house a thousand times in many different cities, and this painting evokes exactly that kind of feeling (to me).

I have no idea if there's a word for it, but I love it when artists give a sense of movement to their paintings by curving what should be straight edges.

Brad Slaugh paints in this fashion. He looks at the picture or thing, but doesn't look at the canvas.
